Just tried out my new 16 inch chain saw. Amazed how it cut. Light weight and easy to use. I had a large tree that fell and had it cut up in no time, with battery time to spare. I have a HB 18 inch which never would have got it done without stopping to charge the battery. First time I used it, and it looks and feels like a well built saw, and the chain is easy to adjust without tools. Cuts very fast. The 16 inch model works well even on larger trees plus it is small enough for cutting the smaller branches. I have the 5 amh battery. Pleasantly surprised about how good this unit is. I reviewed a number of other brands but settled on this one.

So happy not to have to deal with mixing gas. Power js OK for my usage (chopping up fallen tree limbs) Does drip a bit of oil when not in use but I unscrew the oil cap slightly after using the saw, then place the saw on a rubber mat just in case it drips. I'm a novice chain saw user but I've been able to replace the chain and clean out the sawdust inside the unit with a small paint brush. Haven't sharpened it yet but will get to that business next. Nice saw to have for yard clean up.

I love the saw when it runs. Unfortunately, the second time I used it, it died and refused to start again. After the retailer tried to troubleshoot it, they concluded that there was a problem with the power switch and exchanged it for a replacement. I love the second saw when it runs. So far so good.

So excited about this chainsaw, I've done a ton of yard cleanup already and have been happy with the battery life.

For personal use (comparing to pulling my arm off trying to start my gas chain saw) battery power makes way more sense.
The 5Ah battery last longer than me. I thought I may need a second battery but so far I don't think I will.
I have worked in oil and gas my whole career and always thought If the use of batteries become practical then it is time to switch. In this instance they have.
I am considering the ZTR mower (if the price point fits) and perhaps use the 10Ah batteries with the two stage snowblower.
