I am a pretty big fan of the EGO product line. Their leaf blower works and aside from leaf blowing I do use it for cleaning up things like blowing the grass off my lawn mower.

Was concerned about going battery operated from gas. I get a very large amount of leaves with mature trees. I have other ego products so I just bought the tool since I have plenty of batteries. That being said I thought I had the right Amh battery but must not. Only got about 45 minutes run time. So if this is a first purchase I'd get the battery. Works great though I just have to change the battery out to complete my yard

Love it , have everything in ryobi and it does not compare. Batteries and chargers for the ryobi keep having to get replaced

Blower has plenty of power. It also came with a strap so I guess you could put it over your shoulder. However I think it is light and maneuverable enough you really don’t need the strap. But maybe as I get older I may need it. Seems to be a good powerful machine.

I was excited to get this item after enjoying my EGO weed trimmer. I always felt a bit guilty using my gas-powered Stihl blower even though my neighbors' houses are spaced pretty far apart.The first thing I noticed when I assembled it was that it was very front-heavy. Even after attaching the battery the poor balance of the handle to blowing mechanism made it tip forward. After blowing the leaves off the driveway and patio, my wrist was a bit sore from having to counter the balance weight.It's also a little longer than I'm used to...the front of the blower constantly scraped the ground and when I needed to blow vertically downward to clear out a gutter or a puddle, I had to raise my arm to keep the end of the blower from hitting the ground.The battery life was okay...I had a battery with a full charge and when I was finished with about 15 minutes of blowing it was at about 50%. I have a spare battery so I'm not worried about that. The velocity was good and performed as well as my gas blower.I like that I don't have to use ear plugs like I do with my gas-powered blower and will use the EGO for quick jobs but will probably keep using my Stihl for the longer, heavy duty jobs.
