The snow blower I have been waiting for

I tried cheaper snow blowers but they just don't do the job. I went from an electric (cord) to this battery one. The price was higher but after using it a couple of times, it is well worth the money. On my first use, I cleared my driveway, my neighbor's driveway and the sidewalk covering 5 houses! Having the 2 batteries gave me plenty of power and I never ran out. It folds down easily and I bought a separate EGO cover for it for storage. Great quality all around from another EGO product (my 3rd).

    This product is horrible!

Never had snow the year we bought this but once. Heavy slushy snow and it would throw the snow. Used it for this first winter snow 2022 and it is horrible. Has horrible power. Does NOT throw 35 feet. Barely makes it out of the machine. Shuts off if it encounters any frozen snow. DO NOT BUY!!!!!Very cheaply made of plastic.

    Not A Good Decision

I live in what used to be ski country. The resorts now make their money as water parks in the summer. But, we still get the occasional heavy dump of fluffy white stuff, (more like slushy these days). This snow blower is pretty good at collecting and throwing snow. I cleared my driveway of about an inch of snow in record time. But the next day was quite a different story. The deal breaker is that THE WHEELS ARE NOT POWERED! It's like those old push lawn mowers...but for snow, which is not as light as grass. If you have to clear a drive with an accumulation of one, or maybe two inches, this machine is pretty cool. It's quiet and does a decent job. But if you've got real snow to move, anything over 4, 5, or 6 inches. It's not the one for the job. Trying to get traction in order to push it is near impossible, as it leaves a thin slippery layer of compacted snow in it's wake. I had to use ice traxx on my boots to get the traction to push it forward. I had to charge the batteries 3X to do my driveway (over 200') and I didn't have the strength left in me to do the turnaround. I had no idea that they made snow blowers without powered wheels!!! Given the winters where I live, it just doesn't make sense!

    Does OK

Does ok but less then 3 inch snow. But hard to push and doesn’t shoot too far. I definitely feel it’s over priced. Sadly, it’s just too big to try to return for me. I would suggest another kind maybe.

    Hard to push

I was able to blow out my four car driveway and a couple of sidewalks in above fifteen minutes wit very light snow. I found it much harder to push and maneuver than I expected. It’s got back wheels only and I find I have to tilt it up so often. The batteries are cumbersome so carry both at once. I would have tried to upgrade if I could while still going with an electric one.
