Works as good as expected.

Coming from old school gas powered metal tank style lawnmowers I wasn't sure about this plastic machine without a combustion engine. I thought that there is just no way that it could work as well as our old trusty earth polluting technology. I was wrong and can happily report that after a summer of use I have learned to love this mower. This thing is light weight. I had thought that I purchased the unit with propel assist. I was a little concerned when it came and didn't have it. However, due to the light weight of the machine I'm not missing it even when mowing up an incline. The one down side is when the mower is pointed downhill it want's to take off on me when I let it go. My old heavy metal mower didn't do this. It's not an issue, just requires me not to change the bag when pointing downhill. As far as battery life is concerned I can get two good mows of my lawn as long as I've stayed on top of my mowing. I don't know the exact size of my lawn, but my guess it is its about one and a half times bigger than a lawn that one might typically find in your average American suburb. I like not having to take a trip to the gas station just to buy gas for my mower. Yes, It's the little things in life that make me happy!

This is my second purchase of an Ego electric mower. Quiet, powerful and easy to use with grass-bagging, mulching or side discharge options, it makes mowing less of a chore. I really prefer this brand!I bought this second mower thinking my first one had stopped working. I had the old mower checked out and discovered I just need to replace the Lithium-Ion battery! It seems that the old battery holds a charge, but the charge isn't strong enough to power the mower. I will purchase a new battery for it and get another 7+ years.I have a walk-out basement level, so I am keeping the newer mower and I am happy to have a second mower to keep in my backyard shed. Both mowers can be stored in an upright position with the handle folded down, which takes up considerably less floor space in the garage or shed. Now I have 2 great mowers with none of the ecological impact or smelly messiness of a gas-powered machine!

No issues with its ability to cut, but what I bought it for was battery life. I am only getting around 18 minutes of battery life. It may be 65 minutes if you only run the lights without the blades running. Not worth the 1 hour charge if I only get 18 minutes in return.

After all the positive comments I read before purchasing I can’t tell how disappointed I am in my EGO Power+ LM2135.I’ve been using my mower for a few months now. I mulch mow my small yard every 4-5 days. What should take me 20 minutes or so to mow takes me almost an hour because the mower misses so much grass. I have to go over the same path 2 or 3 times in different directions to get it cut. And despite these efforts there are still spots that are noticeable that were missed. I can say I had 4 friends looking into purchasing a cordless lawn mower. I have shown them what this mower does and said they might want to look at the Ryobi.I give it 2 stars because the battery life is satisfactory and the storage of it is easy to fold up and minimize space.
