Important Note: This is an upgrade kit to change (upgrade) your Version A of LM2100SP mower to the self-propelled unit that is on version B of LM2100SP lawn mowers. EGO has discontinued the old design (Version A) self-propelled unit and it is no longer available. This kit includes everything you need to upgrade your mower to the latest version of the self-propelled unit that is on version B mowers. The upgrade kit includes new rear wheels and a new electric assembly. Please view repair guideline for additional information. Propelling again!

Perfect upgrade and fix for my 2017 LM2100SP that had stopped self propelling suddenly. Would be nice to have written instructions included, but was able to repair without it.

The upgrade kit works, but there should be instruction.

After installing the parts, my self propelled is now working like new but the kit is missing a few things:
1 When i buy a upgrade kit i would expect some instructions
2 The one wire (I think it was yellow or orange) had a connector on the driver board of the kit, but was soldered on the mower. Some type of solderless connector should come with the kit. I soldered mine and put shrink tube over the connection.
3 The 2 drive wires from the board to the motor have no insulation! I would imagine if these two connectors touched it upgrade would fail. Shrink tube or insulated connectors are needed.
