    The EGO POWER+ 20” Chain Saw delivers the power and performance of a 55cc gas chainsaw without the noise, fuss, or fumes. Powered by any EGO POWER+ 56V ARC Lithium™ battery, this cordless chainsaw delivers up to 230 cuts on a 4x4 when used with the included 6.0Ah ARC Lithium™ battery. Its 20-inch bar and chain is designed for taking down large branches, stumps, and tall trees, and its high efficiency brushless motor delivers chain speeds up to 25 m/s for clean, efficient cuts. Control speed select modes and check battery charge status via the digital display. The electric chainsaw features an omnidirectional auto chain brake sensor that activates to stop the chain from a variety of tool orientations as a complement to the kickback brake. A bright LED work light on the front of the chainsaw illuminates your cut when working at dusk or in emergencies without access to lights.     Ego 20 chainsaw is powerful

    I have the 16 and 20 inch Ego chainsaws. The 20 is much more powerful and has a more aggressive chain. I was very surprised. The 20 does plunge cuts easily when I take down leaning trees. 16 is for limping and 20 is for felling. Great combo for the farm/ranch.

    It's like cutting air

    I have both! The 5000 and the 2000. You wouldn't think the slight weight difference would be noticeable; but it is!
    The 2000 is easier to 'throw around'; moving from cut to cut.
    I probably shouldn't be writing a review yet; as these are just first impressions; after having used the 5000 for a while.
    Like I said in the title; it's like cutting air. I was just getting started, or so I thought; on a 12" piece of Locust. Before I could get comfortable the saw was through the wood!
    As for runtime and/or overheating; I can't speak to that; not having used it enough yet. But so far; I really like it; and I would buy it again.
