Item arrived in good condition and was delivered a little earlier than scheduled.
It was well packed and had no damage.
I charged the battery while assembling the saw. Unlike some others, I know bar oil will never be shipped in the saw, so I had some on hand and filled the reservoir. Battery charged quickly. This saw has a lot of power and cut everything that I asked to.

worked as described. Made the job a lot easier.

Why does this cost the same as the LAWNMOWER? Absolutely absurd pricing on this tool. I own a ton of EGO tools, and this one is clearly the most egregiously priced. Disgusted.

Compared to gas powered, it's pretty light and convenient for my needs. Not gonna use it a lot so that's why I went battery route. Also had other ego products sitting around. Like the carbon fiber shaft, but haven't handled the regular ego non cf product to see it's weight difference. The extended length is good but felt a little heavy. I had a hard time with the strap thoughwhen extended or I'm just not well versed in finding the right length. Cut as it's supposed to though with no issues cutting trim limbs. I got it on sale so happy with the product. Felt pretty sturdy when not extended. It was just a little heavy otherwise when extended and took a little bit more concentration and balancing.

Hey, if it’s a EGO product you can count on it. More expensive than some but better than most.
