First off, I love the responsiveness of the mower, the quiet operation, no gas, no belts to replace, overall a great concept and mostly a comfortable ride. Tires leak continually, have to pump them full of sealant unless you want to fill them often. Even new factory tires leak, just like many other mowers.Know that it will mow 2 acres, if you mostly go in a straight line with few turns, are not mulching and not cutting thick grass. For smaller yards, it mostly does the job and it leaves a very nice look to the freshly mown lawn (sharpen or change blades yearly, or more often). Blade changes take 30 minutes. Piece of cake. If you are pushing the envelope with a large yard, thick lawn, etc., this is not the tool for you however.For large yards (I have 2 plus acres), it is a 2-charge event. If you get behind the growth by missing a mow cycle due to rain/etc., it will be a two-mow (or more) project getting back down to your desired height. Also, don't plan on mulching if you want to cut below 2", this just won't "cut it" with my warm season bermuda lawn. While they say it has the power of a 25HP engine, my brand-new Bad Boy with a 25HP Kawasaki cuts rings around the electric.1st year, had a catastrophic failure. With Covid, parts weren't available and quite frankly the company wasn't yet set up to provide adequate support. Spent most of the summer waiting for its return while borrowing neighbors mowers. This is its third season, two catastrophic failures so far this year. On particularly difficult to diagnose, in hot weather, it just quits. No display, will not boot. Couple of hour cool down and it'll run again. So it's back in the shop, again.I will say the company has stepped up its game with support. Much better now than two years ago. The EGO however will be (assuming they are able to fix it) relegated to pulling fertilizer spreaders, lawn carts and doing minor touch up mowing. It's just not ready for prime time cutting a warn season bermuda lawn below 2".Still think it's a great concept, albeit overpriced, but knowing what I know now, I would never have purchased it. Maybe it'll get better as technology is further developed. Depending upon your mission, it may serve you well. For mine, I'm back to a gas powered zero turn.

The charging six batteries is great when working with other ego products too. Bogs down with mulch kit on when dew is on the grass. Haven’t found a happy medium with speed of mower and blades

Works well for our one acre lawn, I added 2 5 amp batteries in slot 5 and 6 to provide more coverage. If grass is thick and long, only able to finish 80% before needing charge. I think having to slow down to go around multiple trees affects coverage. Anyway, I still prefer this to a gas mower. Has great turning ability.

If you don't remember to unplug or take the battery's out they will discharge rapidly I'm getting rid of it I want something simple put key in mow take key out done

The mower arrived with dead batteries and the charger does not work. Took about 1 week to get an individual charger shipped to me so I could charge the batteries individually and do a firmware upgrade to the mower. The charger for charging all the batteries at once still does not work. Ego service says I need to take the mower, charger and batteries to an authorized service location (nearest one can't get to it for 2 weeks, and I have no way to transport it), and pay the service fee up front (they say they'll reimburse me later). Rated 2 stars since the mower seems to work ok once charged, but I expected better out-of-box quality and better warranty support.
