Unless your yard is perfectly flat, do not buy this mower. I am so disappointed in this thing that I could hardly breathe. I am a guy who's very particular about his lawn. This mower got a lot of good reviews online especially about mulching and all of the other benefits. I am going to have to buy another battery already just to get the yard finished. I have to charge the battery 3 times per mow! The reason I got rid of my other mower is because I have back issues and needed a non pull starting self propelled mower. What I got is a mower that MISSES TONS OF GRASS BLADES! It's horrible! It doesn't matter what blade you put on (It comes with 3 for different types of mowing) it still misses blades and whole spots of grass! And I overlap! Some parts of my yard won't mow evenly and its just one line over. My last mower didn't do this. Plus the self propulsion power severely reduces the battery. I have had this mower for almost a year (didn't get to use it that much because of my illness) and I doubt I can get my money back. Also the bolts to the blade strip easily when changing blades. Now I have to order new bolts and nuts for repair.

Loved that the handle lowered for my short height and that the self power feature has variable speeds. Many other have only one and I would need to run to keep up, but with this, I use the lowest. The mulching works great, I do not see any clippings. Storing takes up little room.
Downside is I wish I got more uses out of a battery charge, and read that I should let battery run down before charging again. I had to wait to finish mowing to recharge the battery. Other downside at this time is that it is new and I don't know yet how well the mower, battery or charger will hold out, and batteries are expensive.

My EGO is easy to use and adjust and the noise level is great after using a gas mower all my life. But I'm dissatisfied with the quality of cut. With the mulching blade it does not seem to have enough suction to pull the grass up where the tires roll. I find myself having to significantly overlap each pass and go slower than I'd like to. I changed the blade to the bagging - high suction blade and it leaves trails of cut grass along the sides of the path. I'm sorry to say that I'll be going back to a gas mower.
