The Earth Auger was purchased to dig about 400 post holes in sand using the 8" auger. The kick-back feature was very important to me. Most of the property it has worked great. But the second it hits a tree root or small rock it engages swiftly the kickback and it hurts. The anti-kickback feature doesn't catch in time to prevent wrist injury. I've had to modify a set of heavy wheels from a different brand to balance the auger and prevent the painful kickback. I wish this company would include its own wheels for transport. I've got a lot of terrain to cover and it would be too exhausting to carry it to every post in every location. The battery is outstanding! Lasts forever, literally.

Works great was worth the wait as battery same as my mower

Only tested it on 3 holes. Put it together and asked my wife where she wanted some holes to plant the trees she wanted to plant. Within 5 minutes later, she had her 3 holes. Anytime I have a hole to dig, this tool will definitely be used, very pleased with it.

Very efficient! And astonishingly quiet. Our first use was to dig a hole for a tree we were planting. It did the job so easily. Also it gives a little warning noise before it begins to dig. Went right through the soil, pulling it up like fresh snow. It even broke up some of the rock beneath the soil. Both my husband and I highly recommend it. Thank you!
