I actually gave myself tennis elbow from trying to start my name brand gas chainsaw. I live in western NC and I have had to cut a lot this month. The saw is well balanced and very easy to use. It's super safe with the chain brake but it also stops almost instaneous when you release the trigger. I've been cutting 2-10" branches and trees without an issue. I'm getting about 150 cuts per charge. Not really a negative but it is electric and EGO says don't use it in the rain or wet locations. After Helene I had to wait 2 days for it to be dry enough outside.

I was skeptical about how well a battery-operated chainsaw would perform, but I am thrilled with the results. Amazing power and battery life. It uses chain oil pretty quickly, so keep an eye on the reservoir, but otherwise it's another amazing EGO product.

I started buying Ego products maybe 2 years ago. I really like my blower, although it is a bit heavy. The trimmer is a bit awkward, and at times I miss my cheap old B&D model. The chainsaw? OMG. This thing is amazing!!!!! Cuts through everything like butter. Minimal maintenance. Decent to good battery life. Not even remotely awkward or heavy. No chain jumps so far. Bar oil seems to work just fine. Hasn't overheated. It is...perfect!

Lighter and cuts better than gas saw in my opinion. Batteries charge quickly. I would not buy if you cut firewood in bulk, but if you have a large property like I do it gets the job done with two batteries. The battery it comes with lasted a good half hour and I bought a second that’s 5amp but have not run that one down to one bar yet. Very easy to break down and clean. Get one with the extra chains and battery, you won’t regret it.
