This device is great for, say, operating a laptop and a monitor during a power outage. It can also run your internet modem and router for quite some time on a 7.5 Ah battery.That said, it automatically shuts off after 1 min if load is < 5W (see its manual). This makes it useless for one of my use cases ... a Chromecast Audio (about 600 mW) and a small Logitech audio/speaker dock (~700 mW).It also can't run larger devices.So, if you want to run small items, measure their power before purchasing. If < 5W, this won't work. If your goal is to run larger items or several devices whose draw could be > 150W, measure first, and consider going up to the larger-wattage versions.

I love the line EGO tools. No running to buy gas every weekend or jerk starting motors. I am also a Ham radio operator and I sometimes go out into the field to help with communications where there is no power. All of my gear has batteries, but they do run down. This allows me to take a couple of EGO batteries with me and recharge my gear easily and quickly. If you need portable power and have EGO batteries, this is the converter for you.
