On paper it sounded great. Big fan of ego products and have several. Reviews for this chainsaw seemed good too but out the gate problematic. Chain easily dislodged. Reassembling a pain as you struggle to hold the blade and cap in place while securing the bolt down. After 10 or so passes on small branches the motor failed. Don’t waste your money. Other ego products are great but not this. So disappointed

The attachment cuts with ease, although the screw that holds the saw comes loose frequently.

You won't find a higher quality on the market than the EGO brand. This pole saw attachment is a top notch cutting machine!

I could not cut a 2 -3 inch limb out of an oak tree. I know oak is a hardwood, but this barely put a scratch on the limb past the bark after a couple of minutes. I found this very strange for a brand new saw. I am an EGO fan, but not of this saw so far.

Have landscaped all my life, a treeman of many years and impressed with all EGO tools. Have used every kind of chainsaw but never one of these. Very easy to use if you have some experience with chainsaws. Otherwise I'm sure there would be a learning curve. Start with low branches to learn how to cut and avoid pinches. You don't want it stuck 10 feet overheard ..
