it works good on cold light fluffy snow. the battery last long enough for my drive way. warning it will not blow a wet warm snow. the bottom seams to not contact the ground and it pushes up and leaves snow on the ground. it won't even push the snow.

I used this snow blower once because of a lack of snow. It really does a great job and throws the snow really far. Only negative thing is the wheels are cheap and one broke already.

For the love of god do not buy this product! I am sure other EGO product are OK but stay away from this SPECIFIC unit with the metal blades. I bought it in 2021 and it self destructed in 2023 after light use and one large snow event in Iowa... Bought a Toro and I am SO HAPPY. Upside is - in 2024 I found a use for the batteries and got a EGO power pure sine wave inverter. THAT works great.Here is the history of the self destruction:November 2021 - Bought the EGO unit after a garage collapse destroyed my Toro.2021 to 2022 season - Very little snow and what little we had the EGO did not like.2022 to 2023 season - By the time any significant snow occurred I discovered that the EGO did not self propel. Not at all like a traditional single stage snow thrower. It took a significant upper body workout to move the EGO around the driveway. Chute plugged in several inches of heavy wet now.Tried to Return - The thing was a turd and I couldn't return it due to the length of time between purchase and getting any real snow.2023 winter - DAYUM we got SNOW!!! After a 8" snowfall, cleared and average sided two car driveway on one charge and that is GOOD. The BAD, I was exhausted (no really really exhausted) because you have to PUSH this unit through the snow. OH YA the area under the rotating blades self destructed and went through the top chute.LESSON: Don't play with fire. If it looks pretty and green it's not going to work. Stay RED with a Toro. MAN O MAN the Toro RIPS THROUGH THE SNOW!!!
