This lawn mower did not want to go through grass that was not even thick. It kept dying The battery did not last more than 10 minutes I am so frustrated. It would die and I would put battery in the charger to find that the battery was fully charged.I tried to raise the blades and the handle would not work. The only way to move the blades up was to turn the mower on it's side.

Just needed to have a mover that I could start and use the battery operated mower is just that!

21" non-self-propelled mower. An excellent tool - when it works. I bought this one to replace one that is 3 years old and ostensibly still under warranty. Problem is, EGO customer service is non-existent. The closest so-called service center near me (a hardware store we all know with the "helpful hardware folks" said it would be 25 days before they could even look at it - then more time to order parts. This is Florida; I'd need a bush hog to mow my yard after 25 days! Attempts to call EGO customer service were also futile. After a lengthy hold, I opted for a call-back. that was 2 days ago and NO RESPONSE. The EGO community forum is apparently non-functional as well and I can't leave this rant on their site, either. I wouldn't have made this purchase except that I'm invested in other EGO tools, batteries, etc. All of which have worked well so far When this mower dies, I'm done with EGO.

I have been doing a "pollinator friendly yard" on my 2+ acres. So I hadn't mowed for 3 years. I got this to mow some paths and circular areas. I didn't mow until late June and the grass and other plants were 2 to 3 ft tall. This would have been very difficult to mow with my old gas mower. The Ego plowed right through it on the highest setting and using the discharge attachment. It was really not hard to push. Some stuff did get flattened but I went back over and It all was great. I used the 7.5 battery from my snowblower. I only used 1/5 of the charge. So there was plenty of power. The mower is great because you can just tip it up to clean it out.

Love this lawnmower. I have a SunJoe that's highest setting is only 3". I like to cut my grass at 4" twice a week and this bad boy does exactly that. My lawn is about 5000 sq ft and I can cut it all on one charge and still have about 25% battery power left. That wasn't the case with my SunJoe. Both lawnmowers are very quiet. I love that the EGO folds down easily & can also be stored upright. This help save space in my garage. The only thing my SunJoe has over my EGO is it's lighter. Making it easier to maneuver, but the EGO isn't difficult to maneuver at all. The SunJoe is just easier.
