    The EGO POWER+ Ice Auger delivers 65 foot-pounds of torque for boring through the thickest ice. Its ergonomic handle design makes the auger easy to maneuver and improves safety, and its anti-kickback system further safeguards from unexpected jams. This cordless auger will bore through up to 2500 inches of ice on a single charge with the included 5.0Ah ARC Lithium™ battery. High and low speeds plus a reverse function allow efficient digging. The auger is equipped with a universal bit connection to allow compatibility with earth and ice bits for added versatility with an 8-inch auger bit for ice included.     Disappointed

    I did not realize this item is battery operated...I found out the battery is very expensive.

    I absolutely love this thing takes about 1.5 seconds to drill through 7 inches of ice but it not light if you are looking for a light auger this is not for you has about the same weight as a gaser if not a little more but the weight helps to bore holes in the ice quickly
