Batterie EGO BA1400T 2,5 AH avec jauge de carburant intégrée

I was impressed with how long I was able to cut through heavy grass/weeds. This is the smallest battery for the weed wacker and I will consider buying a larger amp hr when I need a new one.

I use the battery for my EGO blower and hedger. So easy to use and not heavy at all. The battery has a lot of power to do my entire yard without having to recharge. Honestly, I don’t think I could live without EGO products. It is so nice to have a lithium battery instead of electric so you don’t have to drag a cord around.

I had a previous Ego blower for over 10 years which worked wonderfully. I had two batteries which I interchanged but one day when I was cleaning out my gutters after a roofing job had been done, I sucked up a roofing nail which destroyed the impeller. So I tried desperately to get that impeller part through EGO, but their telephone support people could not visualize the part needed nor even connect me to someone who could provide me the part to do the repair. So I had to send that good reliable blower to the landfill and purchase another EGO blower. At least I already had two batteries that were compatible which the new blower. But these 8 yearly batteries were getting tired and not lasting as long as they were when they were brand new. So I got the new battery and now I had three interchangeable batteries. The lattest one lasts 15 min of blowing on maximum turbo speed and that is plenty for most jobs and clean ups. I have also tried the Husquavarna blower and it does not have the turbo setting. Their battery lasts just a bit longer but the blower is not as poweful.

This review is for the 2.5A battery I had to replace. Only lasted four years with minimal use on a weed trimmer. Residential use, maybe once a week for six months of the year. Followed Ego recommendations for charging and storage of battery. Seemed like the battery should have lasted longer than four years

Love the fuel gauge Ego has now. I have the 2.5 1st generation with a green blinking problem but i found a solution on Youtube to fix it Ego says to throw it away, but all cells are working nominally so that's a waste to throw away a good battery when it can be fixed. Come on Ego!! Offer parts at least!!
