Works great.

Fantastic saw. Cut through 12” logs like butter. I used my 2.5 amp battery and it lasted longer than I thought. I have two batteries so it was easy to change out. I would highly recommend this saw.

Battery and charger are easy to use and quick to charge. I plug in before I mow (1 mile walk about) and battery is charged and read to add to tool. If you are charging overnight or you just want peace and quiet, I reccomend you place in the garage as charger is noisy. However, I have an attached garage and can not hear it through the walls. Do plug in charger first and then add battery as directions state, otherwise sparks will fly! Also unplug before removing battery.

It worked great until it didn't. Just went dead one day. I had recently purchased the lawnmower so thankfully I can use its charger for the battery for my trimmer and blower until my warranty charger replacement arrives. Contacting EGO about this was a bit convoluted as it took a couple of days to get through using the number provided on the product info. When I got through I was informed I needed to register the production and call back again to have the warranty honoured. Lesson learned about registering an EGO product. Most companies use registration as a means to send you unwanted advertising - not EGO.

It's a charger, what more can I say. It did charge the battery quickly, but I don't know if that was the charger or the battery. I didn't buy because I am technically knowledgeable about HOW it works. I bought it BECAUSE it works.
