EGO Power+ HT2410 24" Brushless Hedge Trimmer (Battery and Charger Not Included)

My EGO Hedge Trimmer is the fourth EGO tool I have purchased. I have a mower, a blower, a weed trimmer and this hedge trimmer and I am well pleased with all of these tools. I even bought a weed trimmer for one of my sons who has an oddly sloped yard that a traditional mower could not handle. He loves the weed trimmer for that part and he eventually bought his own EGO mower for the straight and flat parts of his yard and he loves both tools. I have purchased a battery and charger for each of these tools and the money I spent is well worth the comfort of knowing that I have backup batteries and chargers for all of the tools I own. I recommend all four of these EGO products.

This tool works really well!! I've had other hedge trimmers and they were mediocre at best and often times damaging to the bush or hedge I was trying to trim. But this EGO 24" trimmer gets the job done perfectly. I would highly recommend this tool to anyone. I'm a 65 year old male. I decided on this tool because I also have an electric EGO lawn mower that uses the 56v battery and I needed a good hedge trimmer that could cut up to 3/4" and 1" branches. I was so impressed by the quality and ease of use with my EGO lawn mower that I felt comfortable in getting their hedge trimmer that uses the same battery. I've trimmed several of my hedges and bushes so far and this tool works fantastically.

I have owne electric and gas. hedge trimmers. The gas powered was heavy and unwieldy. The electric one was light and powerful but 100 feet of extension cord was a hassle. For several years I've had an EGO weed trimmer. It always had enough battery life and does a very good job. When I found that I could get an EGO hedge trimmer and still use my old battery, I decided to take a chance. It's only been a few weeks of use but I have no regrets. It is lighter than the gas unit and almost as easy to handle as the electric. It trims nicely. Based on my part history with EGO, I'm anticipating no problems in the future.

I bought this to trim and clear Salal on our building lot, most of which is 6' tall! It has exceeded my expectations. Battery lasts 45 minutes of hard continuous work.

I need help---- wishing you would call me from my registry contact information provided. I'm not even a year in, and I have battery and charger issues. Charger toggles to Green Orange Red. BOTH EGo's for me (Blower too), shut off in mid use for presumably flash--- Overheat??? yet nothing is hot and its a cold day I'm working on. Its a total residential use. We've hardly used it. Our issue to fix--- We bought at HomeDepot. I have receipts but you de-authorized that outlet and they are saying--- deal with you. Have you ever tried to call YOU??? 2- 3 hour waits and i've tried 4 times. Please Help! Its likely a new battery or new charger you need to give me and we'd be back on track I hope where I'd be more inclined to write a good review.
