I enjoy the heck out of the ego products. Convenience of battery operated devices is convenient. The blower though is louder than the lawnmower. The shoulder strap attachment is awkward and would be in the way where I left-handed. Holding onto the battery when on latching it for removal is serious business very easy for it to fall away and land on your foot. Make sure you have a good hold of it before pressing the unlatch.

I am a pretty big fan of the EGO product line. Their leaf blower works and aside from leaf blowing I do use it for cleaning up things like blowing the grass off my lawn mower.

Was concerned about going battery operated from gas. I get a very large amount of leaves with mature trees. I have other ego products so I just bought the tool since I have plenty of batteries. That being said I thought I had the right Amh battery but must not. Only got about 45 minutes run time. So if this is a first purchase I'd get the battery. Works great though I just have to change the battery out to complete my yard

Love it , have everything in ryobi and it does not compare. Batteries and chargers for the ryobi keep having to get replaced

Blower has plenty of power. It also came with a strap so I guess you could put it over your shoulder. However I think it is light and maneuverable enough you really don’t need the strap. But maybe as I get older I may need it. Seems to be a good powerful machine.
