Haven’t had to use it yet . But build quality seems good. Maybe put two ac plus and up the watts a bit but still seems good

I purchased this item intending to power a small fan while camping. It did work, and ran for about 4 hours on medium speed. However, since it does not output a sine wave ac, the fan speed is significantly slower than when running on typical AC power, and the motor is also significantly louder (humming sound). This makes sense. Just be aware if this is your intended use. Powering/charging a laptop, LED lights, etc. works just fine.

I like the option to power equipment when I don't want to use an extension cord or move my NEXUS Power Station around. However, when I plugged in a portable fan during a power outage, it didn't supply quite enough power to energize the fan mower enough, sounded like the motor was dragging. I ended up using my NEXUS Power Station anyway. I have tried it on other tools with now problems, just want to be able to use it on anything.

Needs a 12V 15Amp lighter connection to power many 12V items. USB and 120v outlet should have water/dirt resistant plugs.

Love the simplicity and compactness to the Nexus Escape. Great for backup power for smart phones, tablets, laptops, etc.; especially on small weekend trips. Having the outlet plus the USB ports makes it very convenient and useful.
