EGO Power+ SNT2102 21" 56-Volt Cordless Snow Blower with Peak Power (2) 5.0Ah Batteries and Charger Included

Love the snow blower. Just the right size for my driveways.

This machine works great in dry and fluffy snow, and that's when it throws it 35 feet. In wet heavy snow, it's extremely difficult to push it through. I had to push hard for a foot and then wait for it to unclog, over and over. My neighbor with his equally sized 21" gas powered Toro was finished and having his 2nd morning coffee as he watched me struggle and give up. I gave up and bought a new Toro and was immediately relieved of my struggle.
It would also be way more convenient to have an on-board charger so it could plugged in to a wall outlet.
Not well suited for a Chicago winter.
I do have an Ego Blower and an Ego Chainsaw that work great.

While my first season was great with 5-6 midwest snow storms, I quiickly experienced problems in season 2 finding this unit hard to push through even a couple of inches of snow. After researching online I found this known design flaw that EGO owners are complaining about, but EGO doesn't seem to warn owners about this critical part or comuunicate with them about ways to overcome the poor design. Owners should be warned prominently online, when they register ane in the owners manual to check this part before every use, and that you should buy 2-3 scraper bars to have extras ready before the snow season, because they aren't avaible during the season when you'll need it. Also, because of this poor design, and no optional tracking shoes to mount - the bottom and sides of this unit drag on the ground and are worn and rusted after 2 years.

It worked for 2mins then just died. The batteries were fully charged still. I tried taking them out of the snow blower and putting them onto the charger to see if something would rest something. But with the batteries at full charge when i put them into the blower it does nothing (yes they are pushed in all the way). The headlights wont even come on. I tried to take it back to Ace Hardware but they do not accept returns of small engine machines. We got 12"of snow and i had to shovel it all by hand after having spent 650$ on this blower. I had to contact Ego and they are helpful, they will be sending me a new blower but Im stuck sending this one back through the mail. The reason I got it at a store was to avoid having to mail something back if it didn't work.

Works great!! I love everything about it. I love that it’s not made of metal so no rusting parts. I was able to lift mine onto a shelf in my garage for summer storage. I purchased many Ego Tools. I love not having to worry about gas and oil and the noise. We don’t get a lot of snow - this tool is perfect. We’re able to load it into the suv easily to help others with their driveways. I can get through a 3-car driveway with one set of batteries.
