Great product, but could be improved

Does an amazing job at spudding holes in the ice. One drawback to it is its weight, but that is also good when the powerhead does dual service as an earth auger. The main thing that made me sad was that it spins slow... super torquey, likely enough to spin start the planet again, but slow. About 20% the speed of the ice auger that appears to have the same blade architecture... the Ion Alpha and that machine beat the tacklebox off of me in a hole drilling race. I wonder if this powerhead uses PWM to select motor speed? If so, it might be able to pull ahead in the race with ease.
