I used this all winter on a backyard patio. Makes quick work of snow. Throws far. Convenient. Only one that lets you set the direction of the throw.

It's not light. And as long as you use it in light powder snow up to around 4" it works good. It doesn't throw it like a regular blower but I can't get a regular blower up on the porch

I like Ego and have many of their tools but this one misses the mark completely. This will not work on more than a couple inches of very light powder and even then you have to get the tool into a very low and uncomfortable angle for it to clear only the driest champagne pow-pow. Sierra cement? Forget it.Better off using an old school shovel or grab a good electric snow-thrower.

Works really well up to 8” of snow. Even works great with the wet heavy snow. It’s heavy though. It’s better for straight sections. If you need to lift it to maneuver around objects, you’ll probably just want a normal shovel. Also, since it only has the little fins to direct the snow, it won’t throw it very far to the left or right. I’d recommend it for sidewalks and back patios or one car driveways. Otherwise the heaviness gets to you. Easier than a normal shovel, but harder than an actual snowblower.
