EGO LM2130 Tondeuse à gazon sans fil 21 po, 56 V, coupe sélective (batterie et chargeur non inclus)

I bought this mower because I tore my shoulder rotator cuff yanking on the rope of a gas mower. The mower worked great for the first four years but when I started it for the first time this year it ran for about 5 seconds and stopped. I called EGO and after a long pause they sent me to a dealer about 20 miles away. Turns out he only sold them but did not repair them so I called EGO again. This time there was another long pause while the lady searched for a local repairman. Finally she came back on the line and told me there was no one local that could repair it so she was sending me a new one. That's what I call QUALITY SERVICE.

This is my first electric lawnmower. I love the ego products. Overall I am happy with the lawnmower as compared to my high end gas. My main complaint is it is very sensitive to get an even cut. You will sometimes get stripes of higher cuts if the lawnmower isn’t placed just right and if you are pushing down on the handle can pulling up as you push. Takes a little bit to figure out how to get the best even cut. What I love is the simplicity, quietness, and cleanliness of being able to use the mower. I run on mulch and mow twice a week. I would recommend this mower and making the switch away from gas.

Overall I am happy with my Ego mower. The build quality is good, the cutting power is good and the 5ah battery is typically enough to do my small backyard lawn 2-3 times before having to charge it again. Here are the areas that need improvement. 1.) A bit more cutting and sucking power. 2.) Better quality and more robust wheels. 3.) A best practices flyer in the box. This mower will cut best and be the most efficient it can be if you make sure to follow these best practices. A.) Only cut dry grass, wet grass will stick to the bottom of the mower like glue. 2.) Mow your lawn constantly, if you go too long between cuts you will find yourself having to raise the deck for the first pass and then lower it for a second pass.

We purchased this 4 months ago. The good: it is light weight, easy to store, mulches well.
The bad: uneven cut. It leaves rows uncut and looks terrible. The ugly: Eco's response. I called Eco to see what could be done and I was told: Don't hold the handle on top as you might be lifting the front of the mower up. Overlap your cuts by half of the mower, that's right now you're only cutting 9 inches at a time. I tried it it does not help. The only solution I found for the cut to be even is to cut it in one direction 9 inches at a time then cut it in the opposite direction 9 inches at a time. Not happy with this mower at all.

Really light weight and great for saving storage space. Blades doesn't lift grass enough to make a clean cut with one pass. I have what looks like a Mohawk hair cut all over where the wheel passes. I've bought the high lift blade but haven't received it as yet. Otherwise, really great mower, with sturdy construction and very economic. If the high lift blade works then it's really sad that Ego would hold back on it customers and sell these blades as extras so such exorbitant prices.
