This mower is one tough machine. My yard is huge but this mower had no problems cutting it and the battery time is awesome. It folds up so I actually can keep it in my living room closet. Thanks from a 60 plus woman.

I wish I went electric years ago. No more breathing polluting exhaust, no more endless, exhaustive pulls to start the engine, no more trips to the gas station, no more heavy mower to push because of the gas engine sitting on top of the mower, no more checking the levels of gas and oil or oil changes. I am free from all of that. My new EGO mower handles a tough Florida lawn with ease cutting through tall grass. It stores vertically in my garage and taking up very little valuable space. What surprised me the most is how quickly the battery charges. It recharges in minutes even after mowing my lawn several times on a single charge. I will never return to a gas powered mower.

So I wanted to show a few photos of what this mower does. I've probably voided my warranty by putting this mower through it's true paces. I don't baby this bad boy and just mow my 3" grass every few days and say 'OMG THIS MOWER IS GREEEAAAT!!!" - I put this mower through EVERYTHING. 3ft grass? Check. Weeds amongst some quick growing trees in a field? Check. My front yard to look like it's manicured by some third party? Check.

I bought this two weeks ago and as you can see by the pix the lawn looks great. I also bought the 15" weed whip and it is huge improvement over the 12".

Wasn't sure this mower will be up to the task of cutting 12000+ square feet and still have charge. This mower did that and more. I mulch and its mulching performance is excellent. Did not need to use the clippings bag once, it is still new. I have more than 20% in the battery after mowing. The battery charges in about 30 minutes. Really impressed with the mower. I am now looking into adding more tools from EGO, like a trimmer and a blower. I used the mower twice so far, so this is a very early impression, but I have to admit the mower exceeded my expectations. The model I have is the steel deck one and the battery is the 7.5 amps. Very nice.
