I am impressed by the ease of assembly and build quality. Six bolts and donein a couple minutes. I am upgrading from an EGO single stage snowblower to this beast. Three MN winters it did well but with me being three years older needed something self propelled and better at clearing plow snow from my approaches. This beast will do the job easily. Ordered the SNT1207 bundle so with the two 12Ah batteries am not concerned about battery issues even with doing my long driveway and sidewalks, two neighbors sidewalks and their driveways. Even if I do deplete them have four 10Ah batteries from my new EGO ZTR riding lawnmower to pop in. PROS: 1) Extremely quiet. No problem with clearing snow at 5AM. 2) Built like a tank. 3) Heated handles. 4) Steering assist levers basically making it a Zero Turn snowblower. 5) No fighting getting a stubborn gas snowblower to start when 20 below or waking the whole neighborhood up. 6) Confident with do as well as or better than my old John Deere 1090D two stage gas snowblower. 6) It is an EGO. CONS: 1) Absolutely none.

This machine will stop propelling the wheels when the snow is deep. We go a big 30" snow and it took me about 8 hours to clear my driveway. The battery charge took about 2 hours I had to wait about 30 minutes between charging for the batteries to cool.

Bought this in October but, given the strange Minnesota winter this year with virtually now snow, I used it for the first time in March 2024. Admittedly, the snow was very wet and heavy, but the unit really struggled to scrape the snow from the driveway and clogged repeatedly. I really had to fight the unit to get the driveway cleared in less than 10 inches of snow. Neighbors with gas blowers cleared the driveways relatively easily. I really wanted this to work, but now I’m not sure it will. Maybe it’s my unit, or maybe it’s me, but it was a battle.
