Note: The version number, such as C2, C4, etc. is molded on the upper housing of the trimmer head.

The trimmer head for Version A is supplied by Shakespeare, marked C4. The trimmer head for Version B is supplied by Chevron, marked C8.

If there are any parts in the old trimmer head (C4 marked) that require replacement, replace the whole trimmer head with C8 trimmer head. The old trimmer head will not be supplied.
